Mexico
Amazing Mexico is a country of contrasts that combines fabulous mountains and volcanoes with plains, sandy beaches and coral reefs. Mexico is washed by the Pacific Ocean to the south and west, and the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea to the east. The official language is Spanish, English is spoken only in tourist centers. The official currency is the Mexican peso. You can take dollars with you, as they are readily accepted here. But it is better not to take euros with you.
Seasonality of recreation:
The swimming season in Mexico lasts all year round. The minimum water temperature does not drop below +24 degrees even in the coldest month. The ideal time to visit is from November to April. Visa requirements:
It is necessary to obtain a free electronic permit, which entitles you to a single entry into the country within 30 days from the date of issuance of the permit. Etiquette and peculiarities of the country:
In Mexico, it is customary to communicate standing close to each other, even if you are a stranger. And if you move away, it is perceived as rude. In public places, it is better not to lose sight of personal belongings. Smoking and drinking alcohol in public places is prohibited.
National cuisine:
For breakfast, serve a toasted corn tortilla, cut into 4 pieces, with scrambled eggs or fried eggs, chicken, cheese and olives on top. For the first course, try the pozolo. Cactus salad is an unusual dish. Desserts include chocolate roll wrapped in a banana leaf – Polenta tamales, as well as caramelized guava. The national drink is tequila. Mezcal and Mexican beer are also popular among alcoholic beverages.
Interesting places to visit:
A real natural wonder is the Copper Canyon, which consists of 6 separate canyons. You can go there by train, and it is the most extreme railroad in the world. Only in Mexico can you swim in the center of a cave in a lake with crystal clear water – cenotes. The pyramids of Chichen Itza are very attractive to tourists. We recommend visiting them earlier.
What to bring:
Tequila (it should be written 100% de agave or 100% Blue Agave), Mezcal. Bring a sombrero hat for your friends. A hammock is the birthplace of Mexico. Mexican sauce, coconut candy. And this country has a large selection of silverware.
